5 infallible herbal teas for dry mouth

Water is the main ally of people suffering from dry mouth when it comes to keeping the mouth moisturized, but there are other beverages that also help relieve the feeling of dry mouth. In this article, we present five herbal teas that actually work against dry mouth.

As mentioned in other articles, you should avoid dehydrating beverages such as coffee or alcohol, which can worsen the symptoms of dry mouth.

Although a glass of warm milk before bedtime feels great, especially in the winter, cow’s milk is not recommended for people suffering from xerostomia because it thickens saliva, leaving behind a pasty feeling and increasing the feeling of dry mouth.

Here are five healthy, natural and delicious herbal infusions that also work against dry mouth. These herbal teas moisturize your mouth, increase saliva production, and improve your oral hygiene. What more could you ask for?

Green Tea

Green tea is one of the best natural remedies for dry mouth. Green tea stimulates the functioning of the salivary glands and also has antibacterial properties that can help to prevent cavities.
