Dry mouth, also known as Xerostomia, is a common condition that is often underestimated and is experienced by the majority of the population. A dry mouth happens when the body does not produce sufficient saliva, which serves the purpose of helping the mouth remain clean and eliminating harmful bacteria responsible for triggering cavities and infections.
